Startup turbo is an entrepreneurship competition in which students from various universities such as UPC, LA SALLE, ELISAVA, and ESADE (The idea is to create a multidisciplinary team capable of creating big things) come together for 3 days to come up with the best startup idea to present in front of a qualified jury! One of this year's prizes is having the opportunity to enter an accelerator program, and mentorship from Attico Co-Working to develop the idea further!

Food and Beverage

Is food included in the price?


YES! Luch, snacks and beverages are included!




Can I bring my own food?


Yes! You can absolutely bring your own food, although we remind you, we will prepare meals for you, which are included in the price.




Can I bring beers or any other alcoholic beverages?


We would love to have a party, but no. You will only be able to have a beer in case we provide you with one.

Can we sign up as a group already?


Yes! You can notify it in the application form to let us know who will you be joining the startup turbo with!




How Many group members does each group have?


5 members! We recommend a structure as follows, as long as there is a designer, programmer and entrepreneur in each team we will be happy. Note that investors take into account the team very much! Recommended structure: - 3 Business students - 1 programmer - 1 Designer




I don't have a team, can I participate?


Of course you can! Participants without a team or with few team mebers can participate. Groups will be formed on the first day of the event BY YOU. We won't decide on the teams, you will have to do this after a teambuilding activity will do so that you get to know everyone. (Covid friendly activity)





General Logistics

What language will be event be in?


The Startup turbo will be in english so that everyone can participate!




Where will the Startup Turbo take place?


We will host our amazing event at Aticco Bogatell, close to the beach!




When will the event take place?


The event will take place the 9th, 10th and 11th of April. Right after easter holidays! (Check out the website to check the whole agenda of the event)




How many people in total do you accept?


We only accept 45 participants! We want to ensure we have the best talent in our competition!




Do we have to bring any work done or something before the event?


No! All the work and commitment starts the 9th and finishes the 11th, no need for prior work or assignments, everything will be done and be completed during the event!




Can I participate 100% online?


The event has been planned for it to be 100% offline, so participants must take into account the fact that they wull have to come in person. In case of problems, we will figure it after the participants have been chosen.




What if I don't have an idea?


No problem at all! We will have a brainstorming session, mentors will give you recommendations and there will be other activities that will help you come up with a successful idea! As we said, you don't nee to have anything prepared before the competition, all the work is thought to happen on the 9th, 10th and 11th of April.





COVID-19

How will you make sure no-one spreads the virus at aticco?


We will make you sign a COVID-19 declaration on top of checking your temperature at the entrance of the event. We will also check that everyone is wearing a mask at all times and keps the safety distances. We will also ask everyone to be responsible when they go home, to ensure the safety of all the other participants. We will create little bubbles of 5 people, and we will constain any type of contact between teams. (You will be abel to see them, but we won't encourage contact at any time). Find the covid-19 declaration below. You agree to it when you sign up to the event. COVID-19 declaration TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE STARTUP TURBO WEEKEND In order to participate in, or attend, the Startup Turbo event you must first accept these Terms and Conditions. By registering, you accept these rules and legal terms and conditions, without prejudice to any subsequent ratification. ORGANISATION Registered participants must arrive at the entrance to the event ​with their National ID Document​, passport, residence card, or any other legal identification document that is valid at the time of accreditation, in the areas designed for this purpose and ​with a mask​. During the event, you must follow the instructions given by the organizers, maintain adequate hand hygiene and observe the minimum safety distance of 1.5 meters. If you have a temperature higher than 37.5 you must not attend or participate in the event. If you feel unwell during the event please contact the organizers immediately. Also, at the time of accreditation, the registered person must confirm: A) Their express acceptance of these terms and conditions for participation in the event, B) COVID-19 Declaration of Responsibility: Have you been to a country outside Europe in the last 14 days? Have you had contact or cared for someone diagnosed with Coronavirus in the last 14 days? Do you have any of these symptoms: temperature higher than 37.5o, cough or shortness of breath? Have you taken a COVID-19 test before today with a positive or unknown result? By accepting the terms, I declare that the information I will provide is true and correct and that I will pay attention to the specific training on the rules of behavior to avoid transmission of the Coronavirus within the ​E3 event facilities, and I will act accordingly to keep the facility safe.




Do you check the temperature at the entrance?


Yes! We won't allow anyone with fever into the building.




What happens if I catch Covid-19 during the competition?


You will have the responsability to inform us right away. We will also notify your team inmediately. If you all feel fine, we will move your team to work online. We hope we don't have to come to this!




What if I catch covid-19 before the competition?


We will handle these casis one by one, taking into account all personal factors! Notify us as soon as you can!




Will there be hand-sanitizer?


Yes! Aticco Bogatell is fully eequiped to host covid-19 friendly events!
