To excel in the Media Associate role, you must possess the following qualities:

Attention to Detail: Precision and a keen eye are essential for this role. Whether you’re capturing a moment at an event or editing a photograph, every detail matters. You must be meticulous in your work to ensure all content meets high standards and aligns with the E3 Initiative’s brand.

Knowledge and Experience in Photography & Videography: A strong foundation in both photography and videography is crucial. You should be comfortable handling a camera, understanding lighting, composition, and framing. Experience in capturing dynamic and engaging content is a must.

Basic Photo Editing Skills: While we do not require advanced editing skills, you should be comfortable with basic photo and video editing software to make necessary adjustments, such as color correction, cropping, and minor retouching, to ensure the content is polished and professional.

Collaborative Spirit: The E3 Initiative is all about teamwork! You will be working closely with other media team members and the broader E3 staff. We value those who can work well with others, communicate effectively, and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

Strong Communication: Clear and concise communication is key in this role, both when collaborating with team members and when providing updates on your work. You must be able to articulate your creative ideas and be receptive to feedback.
A Day in the Life of a Media Associate
As a Media Associate, your daily activities will revolve around capturing, editing, and organizing visual content that reflects the spirit and energy of E3 events. A typical day might include:

Event Coverage: Attend E3 events to capture photos and videos of participants, sponsors, and key moments. You are the creative eyes that capture the right moment to ensure that E3 is visually represented as who we are.

Editing and Organizing: Spend time editing photos and videos to align with E3’s guidelines and aesthetic. Ensure that all content is organized and uploaded to the shared Google Drive within 2-3 days of an event.

Collaborating with Other Teams: Work closely with the marketing team to provide high-quality content for promotional materials.
